Cherie and Luke's beautifully relaxed wedding at Port Waikato

"Just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her"

...and a boy saying yes :-)

Cherie and Luke were married in the outdoor chapel at Port Waikato camp...surrounded by a huge group of family and friends they spoke their vows and made official what everyone there already knew.  They are such an incredible team, and their wedding celebrbation was a brilliant reflection of them and their personalities; totally laid back and relaxed and fun.

The camp has such a funky retro vibe and when Pip found this red chair for me...well, all I can say is she knows what I like lol.

And then after dinner we snuck off down to the beach for a few more pics...

before heading back for more dancing...

I love this shot, in the background that's Cherie's parents who were married waaay way back in 1983!  Pretty cool huh?  Oh and the other cool thing about that was the lace on Cherie's dress came from her Mum's wedding dress...love that!

THanks so much Cherie and Luke and your lovely friends and family...we had a blast and can't wait to show you the rest!  In the mean time there are a few more on Facebook :-)

Ah young love. The image with the red chair and red door is very striking! I love the Port, we go there at least once a year but try and make it at least twice. We've been going for years. We have family there now. It's a beautiful spot!
