Quintessential Hamilton wedding pics

Rosie from the Bride and Groom magazine called me yesterday because they are planning a regional feature on the Waikato for an upcoming issue (the Feb one I think).  And she has invited me to submit some images that express what is unique about Waikato weddings.  OK, no worries I think to myself.  And so I started going back through the archives for suitable images and it suddenly got really difficult to choose!

Do I go for images that feature local landmarks like the Hamilton Gardens?

Or maybe images that feature the Waikato River...

Or do I go for images that have a Waikato kind of vibe?  The whole kind of farming/rural lifestyle and native bush/great outdoors thang...

So I'm taking the easy way out and asking you guys...what do you think is the quintessential 'Waikato Wedding' image?  It may not actually be one of these of course!  But what makes us unique?  Is it the locations - anything in particular?  Or is it more of a feeling?

I actually think you've answered your own question in the pics above: we are unique BECAUSE we have so much right on our door step - from city-scapes, rivers, lakes, beautiful gardens to rolling country-side - all within minutes drive of each other. (sorry - i know that won't help with your selection but that's just what i think :-) )

Yeah agreed, but I have to say the very top photo at the gardens, and the b&w on the river, in my opinion would be perfect choices, they are not only beautiful shots, but so obviously Waikato:)
