NZIPP conference setup

Tomorrow is the first day of judging for the NZIPP Iris professional photography awards for 2008 and I went over to Tauranga to help out and begin photographing the event (I'm the official photographer for the photographers...eek, no pressure!)

The judging stretches over three days and in that time over 1000 printed images will pass before the judges eyes, be commented on and given a mark out of 100.  It is one of the most amazing things to see and just a huge learning curve for any photographer who wants to go beyond their limits.

Last year I was really excited to get a bronze with one of my prints in the Creative category, this year I am hoping for some medal luurve in the Wedding category (not wanting to jinx it or anything!).

Tomorrow is the first day of judging with the Student category up first then Wedding Album and Commercial in the afternoon.

Print cases waiting to be unpacked
