More from the Bride's Night

So everything kicked off at Azarni in Casabella Lane at 2pm as the models rocked in for their hideous before photos (actually I had to try pretty hard to make them look crap).  Rachael from Ruby Rouge started work on their makeup and the Azarni team started on the hair. They had already had their eyebrows, nails and spray tans done by So Naturals (also in Casabella Lane) a couple of days before.

I left them to it and caught up with everyone later at Astra Bridal...the corks were popping, the tulle was swishing and the brides were starting to arrive.  Vicki and the team from Willowglen were busy serving very yummy looking canapes and Andre was doing a stirling job on the bar!

The girls rocked the first round of gowns in the fashion parade...

I loved Dayna's fascinator veil - very cool!

Natalie and Andre working the catwalk.  The catwalk is always there so anyone who tries on gowns at Astra gets to do the whole supermodel thang, heaps of fun!

So then the team grabbed someone from the audience to be transformed from a normal person into a super bride :-)  Emma was stoked to be chosen (who wouldn't be?!) and she was whisked off to the side to be madeup and haired up (I know, not a real word but you know what I mean right?).

While Rachael and Sharon were hard at work we did some spot prize draws, heard some useful info from the team (including me urging everyone to embrace their inner poser!) and saw some more beautiful gowns.

We had a demonstration of ceroc dancing...which is apparently very easy and fun and you can put together a pretty impressive first dance without years of training!

More gorgeous gowns...

And then Emma re-emerged transformed...

Not bad ay?

There are still more pics of our models but I'll save those for tomorrow.  Thanks so much to everyone who worked on the first ever Bride's Night and thanks to everyone who came!  It was a huge success and I'm sure we'll be doing it all again soon.
