House of the Year photography finished

Today we shot the last two showhomes for the Master Builders House of the Year and rushed to process them in time to meet the 5pm deadline!  When I counted up I have driven over 2000kms, and photographed 58 properties from Taupiri to Raglan to Matamata to Te Awamutu (and back again).  No wonder I'm tired!

I have been very ably assisted in this by Kelly Peterson, a third year Wintec Media Arts student who is doing her final year internship with me.  I don't think she quite knew what she was getting herself into!  She has developed an excellent eye for crooked curtains and cushions and we've finetuned our multiple flash lighting technique.  We've also drunk a lot of coffee in a LOT of different cafes (tough job but someone has to do it) so we are your go-to people for cafe recommendations across the Waikato.

Anyway, here is one of my fav shots from my favourite house (it's one of the Downey Construction showhomes if you want to have a nosey for yourself).  I loved the house and I was having serious chair-envy over the gorgeous furniture too.
