Congratulations to Rebecca and Carl who were married this afternoon in Cambridge. It was a lovely ceremony in the big white church with the blue doors (AKA St Andrew's!) and we wandered around Te Koutu Park a bit doing photos. I am LOVING the gum trees there. These aren't the gum trees though (in case you couldn't tell), we also stopped off in the driveway to Rebecca's parent's stud to capture the autumn leaves.

Rebecca and Carl's reception was held in a gorgeous, silk lined marquee at her parent's place. My favourite idea to steal was their place cards...each one had a photograph of the person who was to sit there. Many of the pictures were scans of older photos and I heard lots of people trading stories about where and when their particular pic had been taken. It was a really fun way to get guests talking! I also loved the hydrengeas in the girl's bouquets and in the huge martini glasses on the tables.

Thanks for having us be part of your very beautiful day!

More of Rebecca and Carl's pics are now online!

Congratulations to Melissa and Steve who were married this afternoon at Glengariff. It was really cool to be at Glengariff as Melissa used to work there helping out with weddings all through her university days. Owners John and Virginia are not really doing weddings anymore but they made an exception for Melissa of course!

The weather was fabulous (Jim Hickey got a thank you in the speeches!) and we had a lovely time wandering the grounds taking pictures.

Melissa's dress was so awesome. My Mum is a wedding gown designer/maker (now semi retired) and so I've grown up with an appreciation of fine wedding dresses. What I'm seeing and LOVING this season is lots of gowns from Essense. They are always so elegant, not to mention well engineered!

Anyway this pic is no use because you can't see her gorgeous dress but I love it anyway!

The rest of Melissa and Steve's photos are now online!

Congratulations again and thanks so much for having us be part of your day!
