Bride's Night at Skycity Hamilton
Bride's Night started out as a fun way for a handful of vendors to show what they could do, raise some money for cahrity and put on a good night for brides-to-be. Last year it was pretty small scale (40 people) but it went down well...fast forward to 2009 and with the involvement of Skycity we were able to include more vendors, more dresses and 150 B-t-b's and their friends!
The whole thing is centred around a fashion parade of dresses from Astra Bridal and suits from Dorset Suit Hire...

Check out loads more of the catwalk pics on Facebook here
And in between there were lots of little info snippets from the vendors.
One of the coolest parts (in my opinion anyway!) is the audience bride. As the girls are coming in and enjoying a glass of juice or bubbles one of them is quietly chosen to be made over as a bride. Louise had no idea she was going to end the evening on the catwalk but she handled it like a total pro! With a gown from Astra, hair by Azarni and makeup by Ruby Rouge she looked absolutely amazing. The big reveal...

You can see more of Louise's pics on Facebook too.
If I took your pic on the night (or you're just nosey to see who I did photograph) you can check those pics out here...tag 'em if you know 'em!
And not only did we have a fun, informative night we also raised over $1500 for the Cancer Society! How cool is that?
