We had an awesome night on Thursday at the first ever Willowglen Wedding Night! Keith is such a great MC (and he's a celebrant too if you're looking for one) and the evening was just great, very relaxed with lots of ideas on show.
Karen from Wedding Flowers by Karen did a beautiful job of the flowers (as always) and Insignia Chocolates provided the favours for the tables.

Astra Bridal provided the gorgeous dresses again, with hair by Shannon from Verve and Bex from Mint. Makeup and nails were done by Amanda from Flawless Makeup and Nails (phone 8438676).

Ross from Elite Limos drove over specially for us...

I was great to meet up with Tania from Sweet Art Cakes again, I couldn't place why she looked familiar but she reminded me I did engagement pics for her and her (then) fiance a l-o-n-g time ago! Check out her website for details of her beautiful cakes.
Thanks everyone for getting in behind this evening!

I was so nervous waiting for my print case to arrive back from being judged. Everybody else seemed to get theirs on Thursday and I was so worried...about whether it had even got there, had the courier lost it, maybe I did so badly they weren't bothering to return it etc etc. All day Friday I paced up and down and checked the driveway for a courier van every time I heard an engine, still no prints. Finally on Saturday morning the van pulled up and there was my print case! Yay!
I ripped it open and there it was...a little corner ribbon thingy for my album saying 'Gold merit'! And there was another gold in there too, for one of my favourite wedding images from last season:

You can check out the winning album on Facebook.

Had a fun wander around the Hamilton CBD this morning with Liesha and Derek to shoot their engagement session. We started with coffee at Metropolis (as you do) before heading off to my fav alleyway (yes, I have a favourite alleyway, why do you ask?).

and then we just had to hike uptown to this window that I have been busting to use for so long...

I'd been looking forward to this wedding for ages because Sheena used to look after my boys when I first started my phtoography business. Five years ago she was a lovely, shy young nanny who showed endless patience and took my boys on many a trip looking for diggers (Ricky was digger mad). So I had to laugh when she emailed to say she was engaged to Shane, a digger driver (amoung other things)!
Well Sheena is not quite as quiet and shy as she used to be and apparently Shane takes the credit for that. We had a ball photographing their wedding; the bridal party was really fun and up for anything and Sheena looked absolutely fantastic and princess-like.
Here are a couple of pics and there are more on Facebook and in the gallery...

We snuck away from the reception for a few minutes to capture some night shots...

Congratulations guys!!
