NZIPP Waikato-BOP Photographer of the Year 2008

Yay for me!  I was really excited to tie for first place in the NZIPP Waikato/BOP regional Photographer of the Year for 2008 and I get to share the trophy with the very awesome Kerry Grant (from Rotorua).  He's won it before so he said I could have the first six months with the trophy :-) 

 

I also got the prize for the highest scoring wedding print (actually it was two of my prints, each with the same top score), so that was pretty cool too :-)  Here they are...

There are some more pics floating around from the prizegiving tonight, I'll upload a couple when I get them (hard to believe in a room full of photographers we only managed to find two point and shoot cameras!)
