NZIPP: Professional photography institute

 
I am a Qualified Professional Member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photographers (NZIPP). The NZIPP is New Zealand's only professional photography body that requires members to pass strict quality and professionalism standards in order to be accepted as a Qualified Professional Member.  Why is this important?  Because it's about a committment to excellence in creative and business practice.
 

So who is 'We'?

 
At weddings I always work with a second photographer, at the moment my main 'second shooter' is Rachael Horne.  If Rach is having a day off I may have another NZIPP photographer along with me for the day (and sometimes I second shoot for them).  The important thing is to know you'll be getting two perspectives on your day, two pairs of eyes watching for those candid moments, two ways of looking at everything that happens (and it happens so fast, believe me!).
 
The other person involved in the 'we' is my wonderful husband Stu.  He used to shoot weddings with me so he knows that side of things but these days his involvement is more in the business stuff.  He's also my IT geek extraordinaire keeping backups backing up and providing me more harddrive space whenever I need it (and I always need it!) and this all happens so seamlessly that I find myself eternally grateful to him :-)
